When Uprising was established here, it wasn't an accident of geography. Pacific Harbour is Fiji's Adventure Capital, and this resort was built to put guests right in the middle of it.

Mangrove Planting Initiative

At Uprising Beach Resort, protecting Fiji's natural beauty is part of how we operate. In partnership with Projects Abroad Fiji since 2016, we support an ongoing mangrove planting initiative dedicated to restoring and preserving the coastal ecosystems surrounding Pacific Harbour — one of Fiji's most biodiverse stretches of coastline.

Mangroves play a vital role in protecting shorelines, supporting marine life, and capturing carbon. Through this initiative, volunteers and guests work alongside local community members to plant and nurture mangrove seedlings along vulnerable coastal areas. It's a hands-on, meaningful way to connect with the environment that makes Fiji so extraordinary.

More than just conservation, the initiative reflects the values at the heart of Uprising. We make a genuine commitment to the land, the ocean, and the communities that call Pacific Harbour home. Guests who participate leave with something that goes well beyond a holiday memory.

The mangrove planting initiative has become an important part of Uprising's identity — bringing together travellers, volunteers, and locals in a shared effort to protect Fiji's natural coastline for generations to come.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Uprising Beach Resort, this vibrant festival showcases an exciting lineup of local and international artists, delivering everything from reggae and island tunes to live bands and DJ sets that keep the energy going all day and night.

More than just music, the festival is a full sensory experience. Guests can enjoy delicious food and drinks, beachside lounging, and an electric atmosphere filled with good vibes and great company. Whether you're dancing under the stars or relaxing by the ocean, there’s something for everyone.

The Uprising Music Festival has become a must-attend event in Fiji’s social calendar—bringing together music lovers, travelers, and the local community for an epic celebration of sound, sun, and island life.

The people who run Uprising are the same people you'll meet at the bar, on the beach, and organising your dive trip at 7am. It's a small team with strong opinions about hospitality. The most important being that guests should feel like people, not transactions.

The uniqueness of Uprising can be found in the smallest details, or the grandest adventures. From grabbing some beers at the bar and walking over to watch professional sports games, or going on multi-tiered immersive adventures both around and at Uprising – there's never a shortage of good times to be had in Fiji.

Uprising allows guests to make the very most of Fiji while staying by the beach, with everything you can imagine accessible in the nearby area. We aim to provide wholesome community values and look after our guests with a warm Fijian hospitality.

We host professional sports teams and group bookings for traveling teams, as well as diving and local packages. Guests can work out, go for a swim or surf, wine and dine in the sun and catch the occasional live band at the bar.
